As the Chief Impact & Partnerships Officer, Phil Nguyen leads CFC’s ecosystem and partnerships strategy through strategic philanthropy, cross-sector collaborations, and member-driven impact initiatives.

Phil comes to Chiefs for Change as the former Managing Partner and Founder of EdChiefs, a strategic consulting firm deeply committed to paving pathways to sustainable growth and expansion for social impact organizations across the country. Through this work, Phil has supported 70+ National Nonprofit Organizations, Foundations, EdTech Companies, and State Agencies scale their impact through diverse revenue acquisition, direct fund development, growth systems design, strategic marketing and communications, and equity-centered Go-To-Market Strategies.

Prior to his time at EdChiefs, Phil served as a senior nonprofit leader, edtech executive, school and district administrator, elementary educator, and entrepreneur. He currently serves as a Board Member for the National Center for Teacher Residencies, and The National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Phil is a proud first-generation college student graduating with his Bachelor of Science from Washington State University, Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University, and Master of Education in School Leadership and Development from Harvard University.
